Property Cape Verde - Fogo

Fogo is the fourth biggest of the Cape Verde archipelago and looks from a distance as if it is only a volcanic mountain. The volcano peak is only 200 years old and a second, smaller peak was formed in 1995, both of which lie inside the partly collapsed giant crater of the ancient volcano that formed the island itself. Active right up to the 18th Century, when the main cone ceased activity, the volcano is in fact the main tourist attraction on the island taking a little over 4 hours to climb to the peak.
